Francis House is a local home run by the Rainbow Family Trust in East Didsbury, Manchester which offers the families of very sick children a respite from their role as carers and gives the children a loving home-from-home.

The philosophy of Francis House and Rainbow Family Trust flows from the belief in the sanctity of life, and the dignity of the person.

The Kirsty Millennium Appeal

There is a special appeal, The Kirsty Millennium Appeal, which seeks to secure the future of Francis House and draw attention to the extremely low funding awarded to Children's Hospices in general from statutory sources.

Even though The Kirsty Millennium Appeal achieved its primary goal, to raise £5 million, on Saturday the 28th October 2007 there is a lot more that can be done.

How can you help?

Representatives from Francis House will mbe patrolling the Festival encouraging you to help their worthy cause, so go on . . . .
