As a result of the CIS stating that the New Century Hall is no longer available to any outside event we have had to scour Manchetser for another venue. Thankfully we have found one at "The Venue", Sheridan Suite, Oldham Road, Manchester, M40 8EA, just 1.2 miles from the Northern Quarter along Oldham Rd. It has a huge (free) car park (300 vehicles), that can accommodate many coach trips direct to the event. A new logo is being worked up and will appear here soon!
Confirmed dates are from Wednesday 20th January from 5pm with ALL beers available at all times including Champion Winter Beer Of Britain. This is because the competition has been moved to take place Wednesday morning/lunchtime, so come along Wednesday evening to be the first to try out the winning beers. We will also be open from noon Thursday 21st, Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd to 10:30pm each day. Public food will be provided during all sessions.

Can I also thank all of our sponsors who make running an event such as this, a little easier for us. The publicity provided by the main sponsors (Manchester Evening News and City Life) helps us to fill the hall with drinkers to enjoy the beers, ciders and perries that many talented brewers have supplied. So my thanks to them and to the brewers, both individual and family brewers, locally and from throughout the UK and beyond. I am sure they will be looking forward as much as I am, to my announcement of the Champion Winter Beer of Britain on Wednesday afternoon and wish all of the brewers involved success, either here, or in the many pubs and beer festivals that they supply.
Finally, on behalf of other members of the Working Party (the organising committee) and the Managers of the various bars and stalls who have all spent many hours putting this event together, I hope you enjoy it.
